A wire rope cable is suspended between trees. At half metre intervals along the cable links of chain are attached. Students attach a flexible ladder (Etrier) with four (4) rungs to the first link of chain and then stand on the ladder. They then reach out to the next link of chain and attach a second ladder (Etrier). A leg-loop harness is worn and has two safety tapes attached as with High Ropes.

Students progressively transfer ladders along the cable from link to link to the end where they are then attached to a Belay rope and climb down a flexible caving ladder.

The children are located between 1.0 & 2.5 metres approximately above natural ground and our instructors supervise continuously. There is no time when they are left detached from the cable or Belay rope.
